Passenger Boarding Ramps

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is seeking to purchase one Universal Passenger Boarding Ramp designed to accommodate Narrow-Body Aircraft and one Universal Passenger Boarding Ramp designed to accommodate Wide-Body Aircraft. The ramps should facilitate the boarding and disembarking of airline guests in remote airport locations. The Authority requires the ramps to meet various standards, including FAA AC 150/5220-21C, ADA 2010 Standards for Accessible Design, and NFPA 70. The project duration is expected to be 90 days from the receipt of the purchase order. Key features and requirements of the ramps include: * Compliance with FAA AC 150/5220-21C and ADA standards * Adjustable slope and slip-resistant surface * Handrails and edge protection * Transition plates for easy passage * Anti-slip skid surface and LED lighting * UV-resistant canopy for protection from the elements * Battery-operated lift system * Safety features, including minimum 2" color-contrasting edge protection and enclosed side enclosures * Minimum 2-year warranty and spare parts guarantee for 10 years * Training and certification for maintenance personnel The Authority will evaluate responses based on pricing, responsiveness, and responsibility. The contract award is subject to Aviation Authority Board approval.
