Description
The Metropolitan Council is soliciting a qualified vendor to design, procure, install, test, and support an Onboard Passenger Information System (PIS) pilot on Metro Transit buses and rail vehicles. The effort spans the full system lifecycle, from engineering design through two‑year operational support, intended to demonstrate feasibility for a wider rollout. The scope includes hardware and software acquisition, integration with existing vehicle systems, on‑site installation, performance validation, and ongoing troubleshooting and data‑integration services. The contract will be a single award, with all work performed primarily in Minnesota.
