Service Contract for ThermoFisher FEI Tecnal T20. Transmission Electron Microscope

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking a service contract for a ThermoFisher FEI Tecnal T20 Transmission Electron Microscope. The contract will provide routine preventive maintenance, precise system alignments, and periodic replacement of consumable components. The service contract is necessary to ensure optimal performance and instrument longevity. The contract will also provide long-term cost savings by covering high-value replacement parts and associated labor. • The contract will be for a period of one year, from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027. • The contract will provide priority support and expedited repairs to minimize instrument downtime. • The contract will cover all associated labor and replacement parts, including vacuum pumps and cooling system components. • The contract is the only arrangement that meets government requirements, as sustaining the system’s maintenance, repairs, and software updates without it would not be financially or operationally practical.
