Description
The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a vendor to provide janitorial and grounds maintenance services for four roadside parks in the University Region. The contract will be for a period of three years, with the option to renew for up to two additional years. The vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, supplies, and labor to perform the required services. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who receives a PASS for each criterion and has the lowest price.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing janitorial services, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, emptying trash, and restocking supplies
• Performing grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and pruning
• Maintaining park facilities, including picnic tables, grills, and playground equipment
• Providing snow removal and ice control services during winter months
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards
