USAG Ranges & Airfields Grounds Maintenance

The U.S. Army is seeking sources for a grounds and airfield maintenance contract. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining approximately 3,207 acres of land, including airfields, training areas, and ranges. The scope of work includes recurring grass cutting, vegetation control, and groundskeeping services. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, from June 1, 2026, to May 30, 2031. The Army is looking for small businesses to respond to this notice, providing information on their capabilities, experience, and pricing. Key aspects of the job include: • Maintaining airfields, including runways, taxiways, and infields, to prevent wildlife nesting and foraging and ensure safe aviation operations. • Maintaining training areas and ranges to ensure they are safe, accessible, and suitable for troop training and maneuvers. • Maintaining grass height strictly between 6 and 12 inches on airfields and not to exceed 6 inches on training areas and ranges. • Providing all labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies necessary to ensure the safe and continuous operation of mission-critical infrastructure.
