TOS No. 21-144A - Southeast Yard Reconstruction Project

The City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Engineering (BOE) Geotechnical Engineering Division (GED), is seeking a consultant to prepare a health and safety plan, pre-exploration site meeting, geophysical investigation, methane evaluation, geotechnical field exploration, geotechnical laboratory testing, geotechnical data report, and methane mitigation design plans and specifications for the Southeast Yard Reconstruction Project. The project involves demolishing existing structures and replacing them with new ones, and the proposed structures will occupy similar footprints to the existing ones but may be slightly larger. The project also includes construction of parking and other site improvements. The site is located in a City of Los Angeles-designated “methane zone.” • The consultant will be responsible for conducting a methane investigation, geotechnical field exploration, and geotechnical laboratory testing. • The consultant will also be responsible for preparing a health and safety plan and conducting a pre-exploration site meeting. • The project requires the consultant to have experience in geotechnical and environmental engineering services. • The consultant will be required to work with the City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Engineering (BOE) Geotechnical Engineering Division (GED) to ensure that the project is completed in accordance with the City's requirements. • The project has a bid deadline of 2026-05-06.
