Description
The Montebello Unified School District is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a complete Asbestos and Lead Survey of all suspect building materials at Greenwood Elementary School. The survey must comply with EPA AHERA regulations and meet the requirements of the Air Quality Management District. The contractor must be able to work after hours, evenings, and weekends, and accommodate the school's schedule. The contractor must also wear employment attire while on site and maintain good housekeeping. The report must include samples from discrete areas, and three hard copy binders of the AHERA Survey Report must be submitted along with an electronic copy.
• The contractor must be CSST and CAC certified.
• The contractor must meet the district's insurance requirements, including sexual abuse and molestation liability insurance.
• The contractor must be able to work on dates coordinated with the Facilities Coordinator and approved by the site principal.
• The contractor must take samples from discrete areas only and maintain good housekeeping.
• The contractor must submit three hard copy binders of the AHERA Survey Report along with an electronic copy.
