Deceased Body Transportation

The St. Lucie County - Purchasing Department is seeking a vendor to provide deceased body transportation services. The selected vendor will be responsible for transporting the remains of persons who die in St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River, and Okeechobee Counties, Florida, from the death site to the Medical Examiner’s Office. The vendor must be able to provide services on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week, 365 days a year, including mass disasters. • The vendor must transport the remains to the Medical Examiner’s Office or other locations as requested by the Medical Examiner. • The vendor must be able to provide services in the event of mass disasters. • The vendor must be able to transport the remains on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
