Description
The United States Space Force is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of performing a turnkey system integration for the Chiller Replacement project. The project requires the complete replacement of two existing chillers with two new, Government-specified Trane CenTraVac water-cooled centrifugal chillers within a mission-critical central utility plant. The scope of work includes project management, demolition and removal of existing chillers, structural, mechanical, and electrical modifications, procurement, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the new chillers, and integration with the existing Building Automation System.
• The project requires a 10-year, comprehensive parts and labor, OEM-backed warranty for the entire installed system.
• The contractor must have authorized access to Trane's proprietary, real-time service bulletins and advanced diagnostic software.
• The contractor must provide at least two project examples of similar size and complexity where they have served as the prime contractor for the installation of 900-ton or larger centrifugal chillers.
