Description

The City of Mobile is seeking vendors to participate in the City of Mobile Running Shoe purchase. Vendors must have a brick and mortar store with employees properly trained to fit City employees within the City Limits. The City will provide a flat $150 for employees who have passed a physical fitness test, and the vendor will only bill the City for the actual cost of the shoes if they are less than $150. The vendor must also have a provision to allow members to pay the difference on shoes that exceed $150. Key requirements include: • Having a physical store in the City Limits • Stocking multiple major brands of men's and women's athletic shoes • Having staff available to help with shoe selection and proper fitting • Having the ability to deliver shoes to the store within a reasonable amount of time if they are unavailable • Having a provision to accurately invoice the City for all redeemed shoe vouchers

Budget estimate

$15,000 – $30,000

Based on the information provided, it's difficult to estimate the exact budget for this opportunity. However, considering the City will provide a flat $150 for each employee who has passed a physical fitness test, the total budget will depend on the number of employees who participate in the program. Assuming an average of 100 employees participate, the total budget would be around $15,000. Additionally, if some employees choose shoes that exceed $150, the vendor will also receive the difference paid by the employee. Therefore, a rough estimate for the budget could be between $15,000 and $30,000, depending on the number of participants and the average cost of the shoes.
