Electrical Services, On Call

The City of Southfield is seeking a contractor to provide on-call electrical services for various city buildings and facilities. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, tools, and services required to complete service and emergency work as needed. The contract will be for a one-year period with the option for two one-year extensions. The contractor must have a minimum of five years' experience performing maintenance, emergency repairs, and new electrical construction, and must have licensed journeymen on staff. • The contractor will provide labor from his staff within four hours of request by the City or at a later time agreed to by the City and the Contractor. • The contractor will be responsible for repair and maintenance projects related to the electrician's trade. • The contractor will assist the Technology Services department with electrical requirements for network projects. • The contractor must comply with the City of Southfield's Living Wage Ordinance. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonds as required by the City.
