RFP - Confidential Document and E-Waste Destruction Services

The County of El Dorado is seeking a qualified firm to provide confidential document shredding, electronic waste disposal, and media destruction services on an as‑needed basis for its western‑slope departments. The award will be a three‑year, non‑renewable contract with one (or potentially more) vendor(s) that can meet strict security, certification, and recycling requirements. Proposals will be evaluated on technical approach, personnel qualifications, cost, and references, and the County may interview top‑ranked firms before award. • Provide secure pick‑up, cross‑cut shredding, and certified destruction of paper, tapes, optical discs, and other media. • Supply locked collection containers, recycle 100 % of paper waste, and comply with NAID AAA certification and County inspection rights. • Submit separate cost proposals per work order, issue certificates of destruction, and maintain required insurance, HIPAA BAAs, and business licenses throughout the term.
