The purpose of this funding opportunity is to award one cooperative agreement recipient to serve as the Implementation Technical Assistance Provider (ITAP) for the Strategies to Link, Engage, and Retain Men with HIV in Care initiative. The ITAP will work collaboratively with an Evaluation Provider to support the overall initiative. The ITAP will sub-award up to eight implementation sites and provide implementation-specific technical assistance to these sites. The initiative aims to adapt, implement, and evaluate interventions that serve men with HIV who are not consistently engaged in care or experiencing barriers to staying in care.
• The ITAP will manage subawards and provide technical assistance to implementation sites.
• The initiative will use implementation science to adapt, implement, and evaluate interventions.
• The ITAP will identify emerging and evidence-informed interventions to be adapted and implemented by the implementation sites.
• The initiative emphasizes rapid adaptation, implementation, and evaluation, as well as public release of dissemination products based on human-centered design and adult learning principles.
