Description
The City of Hampton is seeking bids from qualified bidders to provide pump and haul and wet well cleaning for the City of Hampton wastewater pump stations. The contractor will be responsible for cleaning approximately 103 City-maintained pump stations, with a minimum of three personnel required per site. The contract will be for a term of one year, with the option to extend for up to four additional one-year periods. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids in whole or in part.
• The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment and supplies to perform the work.
• The contractor will be required to maintain a drug-free workplace and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• The contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance and to indemnify the City against any claims or losses arising from the performance of the work.
• The contractor will be required to comply with the City's nondiscrimination policies and to provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees.
• The contractor will be required to provide a pricing sheet with hourly rates for standard and emergency hours.
