Description
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is soliciting bids for the Valdez Armory - Remodel Restoration Project. The project involves a comprehensive interior and exterior remodel of the Valdez Armory facility, including drill hall floor resurfacing, HVAC system replacement, kitchen remodel, and more. The contractor shall provide all design, engineered drawings, materials, equipment, permits, tools, labor, travel, licenses, insurance, disposal, and all other expenses to complete the project. The project has a mandatory pre-bid walk-through on December 9, 2025, at 3:00 pm.
• The project has an engineer's estimate of $1,500,000 - $2,200,000.
• The project has multiple bid alternates, including boiler replacement, clearing of vegetation, front fencing and gates, and more.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and requirements.
• The project has a substantial completion date of July 1, 2026.
