Job Center Decommissioning, Clearing, and Transition Support

The Montgomery County Job Center is relocating, and the county is seeking a contractor to provide decommissioning, clearing, relocation, and transition support services. The selected contractor will be responsible for removing furniture, equipment, and contents, relocating designated items, disposing of surplus materials, and coordinating salvage, reuse, or donation efforts. The contractor must also provide a comprehensive project management plan, including a project schedule, staffing plan, and communication plan. The project must be completed by May 31, 2026. • The contractor must have experience with commercial or government facility clearing and relocation. • The contractor must have adequate staffing and equipment to meet all established deadlines. • The contractor must have experience with disassembly, inventory, and relocation of systems furniture. • The contractor must have insurance coverage meeting county requirements. • The contractor must provide a detailed pricing proposal, including a breakdown of costs for each service. • The contractor must provide references for similar projects. The county reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularity of proposals.
