Public Works Department Building and Grounds Division Janitorial Services

The City of Greenville is seeking bids for janitorial services for its Public Works Department buildings and grounds. The scope of work includes litter removal, general and specialized cleaning, and restocking. The contract period will be from approximately July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with the option to extend for up to two additional years. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award contracts that appear to be in the city's best interest. Key responsibilities of the contractor will include: • Providing all labor, cleaning supplies, rags, and equipment necessary to perform the services • Maintaining a copy of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals used in the janitorial contract • Ensuring that all work is performed between the hours of 5 pm and 11 pm • Accompanying a designated representative of the city on inspections of work at any time during the contract period • Correcting any deficiencies in work performance immediately • Providing a maintenance plan in writing via email to the city by the 20th of each month for the upcoming month
