Design-Build Services for Center for Learning and Leadership (CLL) Building's Systems Upgrade

The Atlanta Public Schools is seeking a design-build contractor for systems upgrades and renovations at the Center for Learning and Leadership building. The selected contractor will be required to deliver all services outlined in the standard APS design-build agreement. The project includes replacement of eight SWUD units, replacement of the existing cooling tower, and provision of test and balance services. The total stated cost limitation is $4,000,000.00. • The project requires a General Contractor's license for the firm. • The Design Builder shall review project requirements, educational specifications, on- and off-site development, survey requirements, and preliminary budget, and make value engineering and constructability recommendations. • The Design Builder will be required to attend all project-related meetings and include a summary of the meeting in its monthly report to APS. • The Design Builder shall ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, codes, design standards, and ordinances.
