RFQ 2026-09 Professional Services for Wakulla Gardens Stormwater Infrastructure

The County seeks a qualified professional engineering firm to deliver Phase 1 engineering, analysis, design, and permitting services for the Wakulla Gardens storm‑water infrastructure project. The scope includes hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, flood‑damage assessments, preparation of two sealed design sets, cost estimates, construction‑ready plans, regulatory coordination, and related documentation. The work is cost‑reimbursable with a contract value of $70,842 and must be completed by 31 Mar 2027. • Prepare two sets of sealed engineering design documents (survey, H&H studies, pre/post‑mitigation analysis). • Develop at least three hydrologic/hydraulic modeling scenarios and quantify flood‑damage reductions. • Coordinate permitting with USACE, FDEP, NWFWMD and provide all required environmental, historic‑preservation, and flood‑plain documentation. • Deliver construction‑ready plans, cost estimates for Phase 2 (parcel acquisition & six retention basins), and a full design narrative with graphics and equipment descriptions.
