Description
The Long County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the construction of approximately 1.04 miles of grading, including 14,427 square yards of 8” GAB and 1192 tons of 12.5mm Superpave. The project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of the notice to proceed. The bid must be submitted on the Bid Proposal Forms furnished for that purpose, in accordance with the Contract Documents and the Plans and Specifications.
• The project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968.
• Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply.
• The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act.
• The bid must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the Long County, Georgia, for 10 percent of the amount of the bid.
• No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with Long County prior to the designated time.
