Johnson County Administration Building HVAC Renewal Project

The Johnson County Administration is seeking bids for the renewal of the Air Handler Unit (AHU), Chillers, Boiler, and Pumps at the Johnson County Administration Building. The project includes all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and other items necessary to fully complete the work. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit will be held on June 25, 2026. Bidders must submit a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. The project also includes a $150,000 allowance for unforeseen conditions. • The project requires the replacement of AHU units, fan array renewal, coil cleaning, and associated demolition. • The project includes the installation of new chillers, boilers, and pumps. • The project requires the contractor to provide a performance bond and statutory (payment) bond at 100% of the project cost. • The project has a preference policy for local businesses, apprenticeship programs, and individuals with disabilities. • The project requires the contractor to provide proof of insurance and registration with the Kansas Secretary of State.
