Description
The US Government Publishing Office is soliciting quotations for the printing of Appalachian National Scenic Trail Unigrid Brochures. The contractor will be required to print 1 brochure plus 50 QARC's, with a fixed price of $43,000.00. The brochures will be printed in 4-color process with some type reversing out to appear white, and will require trimming, folding, and binding. The contractor must also provide proofs, including digital color content proofs and inkjet proofs, and ensure that the final product meets the required quality standards.
Some key requirements include:
* Printing: 4-color process, face and back, with type/rule matter, photos, illustrations, images, logos, and map
* Paper: JCP Code A262, No. 2 Silk / Dull-Coated Text, White, Basis Size 25 X 38" Basis Weight 70 lbs
* Binding: Trim 4 sides to 210 mm x 1188 mm, Z fold with 11 parallel folds to a final size of 210 mm x 99 mm
* Distribution: Deliver 30 copies prior to distribution, and TBD copies to the addresses provided
