The Idaho National Laboratory (INL), via Battelle Energy Alliance, is seeking qualified firms to express interest in a design‑build contract for a custom 200‑cubic‑foot ASME‑U‑stamped pressure vessel (V‑738) that will store gaseous CO₂ at 1,800 psig. The vessel must meet stringent ASME Section VIII, Division 1 requirements, be fabricated from 304/304L stainless steel, include heating elements, insulation, and be capable of withstanding high‑desert environmental conditions. Selected firms may later receive a formal RFP and compete for a firm‑fixed‑price award. The schedule after order receipt totals 28 weeks, covering design, fabrication, testing, and delivery.
