Removal and Recycling of Storage Sheds

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking a contractor to remove and recycle four steel storage sheds and reposition up to three Conex containers at the Inouye Regional Center campus on Ford Island, Oahu, Hawaii. The contractor will be responsible for properly handling, recycling, or disposing of any standard appliances and electronics, including compliance with environmental regulations regarding any refrigerants remaining in the air conditioning units. The contractor must also provide standard commercial disposal/recycling receipts or weight tickets to the Technical Point of Contact upon disposal. • The period of performance shall be 9 months from award, with the expectation that the contractor shall complete the work within 30-calendar days of the arrival of the new CONEX box(s) that need to be repositioned. • The contractor must survey the site or visit virtually via listed coordinates to ensure proper equipment selection for maneuverability. • The contractor shall comply with the applicable requirements of Sections 608 and 609 of the Clean Air Act. • The contractor shall reduce the use, release, or emissions of high global warming potential hydrofluorocarbons under this contract.
