Description
The City of Piqua is seeking bids for the replacement of a furnace at Echo Hills Golf Course. The scope of work includes removing and disposing of the existing furnace and condensing unit, providing a new five-ton split system, and testing and reusing the existing refrigerant line if no leaks are detected. The contractor must also tie-in to the existing electrical and duct services and provide a warranty of 1 year on parts and 5 years on the compressor. The working hours for the project shall be between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
• The bid must include all shipping costs to the point of delivery.
• The City of Piqua is exempt from payment of federal excise taxes and state retail sales taxes.
• The contractor must have and maintain current workers' compensation insurance, comprehensive general liability, and automobile insurance.
• The contractor must comply with the City of Piqua's policy of non-discrimination.
• The contractor must provide a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price.
• The City of Piqua reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in a bid.
