Windermere Pumping Station Improvements-RFQual

The City of Toledo is seeking a progressive design-build (PDB) firm for the Windermere Pumping Station Improvements project. The project involves various upgrades and replacements, including bar screens, pumps, motors, and electrical systems, as well as architectural and HVAC improvements. The estimated construction cost is $10 to $12 million. The City requires the selected PDB firm to provide pre-construction services, final design and construction services, and post-construction services. The PDB firm will be selected through a two-phase process, with the first phase involving the submission of statements of qualifications and the second phase involving the submission of technical and pricing proposals. Key aspects of the project include: • Replacement of wastewater bar screens and associated conveyor • Reconditioning or replacement of pumps and motors • Replacement of electrical systems, including switchgear and transformers • Architectural improvements, including flooring repair and replacement • HVAC improvements, including makeup air units and ductwork • LED lighting upgrades • Electrical and control evaluation and upgrades The City is looking for a PDB firm with experience in similar projects and the ability to provide high-quality services within the required timeline and budget.
