Description
The Western Illinois Correctional Center is seeking bids for Ansul hood suppression system inspection/integrity test and document certification. The scope of work includes semi-annual services for Ansul hood suppression system inspection/integrity test, visual checks of the entire system, and mandatory testing and reporting in compliance with NFPA 25 standards. The vendor shall provide all labor, equipment, test, and transportation/shipping costs to inspect and certify the facility's Ansul hood suppression system. The contract term is one year, with possible extensions up to ten years.
• The vendor must possess and maintain all licensures and insurance regarding Ansul hood suppression system inspections.
• The vendor's employees must be up-to-date and maintain the licensures and/or insurance required to perform their job duties.
• The vendor shall submit names, dates of birth, and Social Security Numbers of all on-site employees for security background checks.
• The vendor shall ensure that all manufacturers' warranties are transferred to the State and provide copies of such warranties.
