The California Military Department is seeking a single‑prime contractor to repair several exterior and interior doors at Sunburst Youth Academy and to replace the existing CCTV/access‑control system with a new, fully‑functional solution. The work includes removal of legacy equipment, installation of new cameras, PoE switches, UPS units, NVR, access‑control hardware, wiring, testing, commissioning, training, and delivery of as‑built documentation. The contract is a public‑works solicitation with a 180‑day performance period and includes mandatory pre‑bid site walk participation.
• Door repair : repair/replace hardware on four exterior bay doors, a double “Diamond Area” door, a laundry‑room door, and a third exterior door.
• Security system : install ~77 cameras (static & dynamic), new UPS, PoE switches, NVR, monitoring consoles, and integrate 24 access‑control points across multiple buildings.
• Requirements : C‑7 or C‑10 CSLB license, DIR registration, bid/payment/performance bonds, insurance, DVBE participation (5 % goal) and SB preference (5 %), AES‑256 encrypted networking, 90‑day video retention, 1‑year equipment warranty plus 2‑year software support, and a comprehensive Quality‑Control Plan.
