Stormwater Facility & Native Landscape

The City of Wentzville is seeking proposals for grounds maintenance for native landscaping at various stormwater facilities. The selected firm will be responsible for providing maintenance services, including mowing, trimming, pruning, and litter control, as well as performing inspections and reporting on the condition of the facilities. The firm must have at least four years of experience in native plant management and demonstrate knowledge in the field. The contract will be for a term of one year, with the option to renew for up to four additional years. Some key responsibilities of the selected firm will include: • Mowing and trimming native herbaceous plantings and grasses • Pruning and thinning trees and shrubs • Controlling weeds and invasive plants • Maintaining stormwater facilities, including detention basins and bioretention areas • Providing monthly reports on work completed and inspections performed • Coordinating with City staff to ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the contract and City regulations.
