Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) Evolution and Development 3 (EED -3) Extension

The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) is seeking to award a one-year extension to the Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) Evolution and Development 3 (EED-3) contract. The scope of work includes supporting the development, maintenance, and operations of EOSDIS, as well as improving the reliability, availability, functionality, operability, and performance of hardware and software systems. The contractor will also be required to investigate, prototype, and transition large components of EOSDIS infrastructure to the commercial cloud. Key aspects of the job include: • Supporting the development, maintenance, and operations of EOSDIS • Improving the reliability, availability, functionality, operability, and performance of hardware and software systems • Investigating, prototyping, and transitioning large components of EOSDIS infrastructure to the commercial cloud • Supporting the Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) and the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) mission • Decommissioning the EOSDIS Core System (ECS)
