Description
The University of Texas at Tyler is soliciting proposals for the renovation of the Cowan Center Lobby. The project includes selective demolition, concrete, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, building automation controls, network cabling, flooring, and ceramic tile work. The successful respondent will be required to provide a lump-sum contract for the entire construction cost of the project. The project is expected to start on June 8, 2026, and be completed by September 8, 2026.
• The project requires a general contractor with experience in similar projects.
• The contractor must be able to bond for the entire construction cost of the project.
• The contractor must provide a detailed project schedule and plan.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The contractor must participate in the Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) and the Owner-provided Builder's Risk Insurance program.
