Sewer Flow Meters

The County of Frederick, Maryland is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the provision of sewer flow meters with all necessary sensors and hardware. The contractor will be responsible for installing the meters, which must be capable of accurately measuring flow in open-channel conditions using Doppler technology. The equipment must be suitable for long-term deployment in harsh sewer environments with minimal maintenance requirements. The contract period will be for 5 years, with a renewal option for four additional years. The contractor must provide insurance, including commercial general liability, auto liability, and workers' compensation coverage. • The contractor must have a minimum of one year of experience in the field. • The contractor must provide a warranty for the equipment for a period of one year from the date of delivery. • The contractor must provide descriptive literature, including details of the warranty and subscription or licensing terms. • The contractor must provide insurance certificates and endorsements as required. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
