Continuing General Consulting Services

The Hillsborough County Aviation Authority is seeking a qualified firm to provide continuing general consulting services for Tampa International, Peter O. Knight, Plant City, and Tampa Executive Airports. The selected firm will serve as one of two continuing general consultants to provide engineering and architecture services. The scope of work includes managing design, maintaining quality control, providing coordination between various professional disciplines and departments, meeting schedule delivery deadlines and budgets, and providing progress updates to the Authority. • The firm must have experience in engineering and architectural design, permitting, and construction administration conducted under general continuing consulting contracts at airports. • The firm must have a strong understanding of sustainability, resiliency, and energy-related assignments. • The firm must be able to manage personnel in multiple locations, if applicable. • The firm must be able to develop and control design costs for projects included in the contract. • The firm must be able to develop construction estimates during each phase of the design. The Authority will evaluate the responses based on the following criteria: Respondent's Organizational Structure, Key and Support Personnel Staffing, Respondent's Experience in Work of Comparable Scope and Complexity, Location, Estimating and Cost Control, Approach, Volume of Work Previously Awarded, and Respondent Certification as a Minority Business Enterprise.
