Florida Onsite Wastewater Training

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is seeking to procure onsite wastewater training services from a single source. The training is intended for certified environmental health professionals, registered septic tank contractors, and master septic tank contractors in Florida. The contractor will be required to provide hands-on training at a facility located in Florida, which must be authorized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The training will include classes on wastewater management, new technologies, and pre-licensing. • The contract term is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. • The estimated dollar amount for the contract is $250,000. • The single source provider is the Florida Onsite Wastewater Association, Inc. (FOWA). • The FOWA's Training Center is the only authorized facility in Florida for onsite wastewater treatment training.
