Notice of Intent to Award / Sole Source - Clinical Laboratory Hematology Analyzers services- Tsaile Health Center

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Tsaile Health Center, intends to award a non-competitive, sole-sourced purchase order to Sysmex of America Inc. for clinical laboratory Hematology Analyzers services. The scope of work includes providing a new Hematology analyzer, reagents, quality controls, calibrators, service agreement, technical support, and training to the laboratory staff. The contractor shall set up and validate the hematology analyzer, supply reagents and consumables, and provide technical and quality control support during business hours. The key aspects of this opportunity are: • The contractor shall provide a new Hematology analyzer to perform Complete Blood Count (CBC) and Reticulocyte Count analyses. • The contractor shall agree to a fixed monthly billing that includes all reagents, quality controls, calibrators, service agreement, and technical support. • The contractor shall set up and validate the hematology analyzer and supply their own reagents, QC, and consumables during the validation process. • The contractor shall train THC laboratory staff on the operation, software, equipment, reagent, trouble shooting, and other topics necessary to perform CBC and Retic testing services.
