Public Work – Zundy Refresh Project and Zundy Elevator Modernization

The Wichita Falls Independent School District (WFISD) is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a refresh project at Zundy Elementary School, including limited demolition, painting, ceilings, lighting, and other miscellaneous items. The project also includes a separate elevator modernization project. The contractor must submit a qualifications package, followed by a price proposal. The district will evaluate the proposals based on the published selection criteria and weight of criteria. • The refresh project includes a limited demolition and removal of equipment, refresh of painting, ceilings, lighting, and other miscellaneous items. • The elevator modernization project includes a full elevator modernization. • The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to complete the project. • The project is scheduled to start on May 25, 2026, and must be completed by August 1, 2026. • A pre-proposal conference will be held on March 23, 2026, at 4:00 PM. • Questions must be submitted by March 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM. • Step 1 submissions are due by April 1, 2026, at 12:00 PM, and Step 2 submissions are due by April 2, 2026, at 4:30 PM.
