Verdi Canal Sand Trap Improvement

The Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is seeking bids for the Verdi Canal Sand Trap Improvement project. The project involves the removal of an existing sand gate and supporting structure with walkway, and the installation of a new reinforced concrete sand trap structure. The structure will include the installation of a new owner-procured slide gate, improvements to the CMP drainage, and the installation of a new operating deck. • The project is deemed a Horizontal Construction Project. • The Engineer's estimate for the project is $495,000 - $605,000. • A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on May 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. • Bids will be accepted from only those bidders in attendance at the meeting and site visit. • Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted through the Questions Tab no later than three business days before the Bid Opening.
