Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 05, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract for Acustaf Labor Management Software. The contract is expected to be awarded under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B). The contractor will provide Acustaf Labor Management to the Washington DC VA Medical Center. This is a brand name only requirement, and the system is already deployed across VISN 5. The system automates scheduling and staffing processes, provides decision support for staff assignments, and improves patient care.
