Substitute Staffing & Management Services

Asheboro City Schools is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide substitute staffing and management services. The contractor will be responsible for managing, employing, and providing substitute services for applicable employees, as well as permanent placement of Instructional Assistants. The contractor must be able to meet the requirements and specifications outlined in the RFP, including providing temporary and qualified substitute employees, permanent Instructional Assistants, and all necessary services and resources. The contractor will be paid a fixed fee per substitute assignment. Some key points to consider include: • The contractor must have at least five years of experience providing substitute teachers, substitute teacher assistants, and other employee services to public school systems. • The contractor must provide a list of all school systems to whom they provide or have provided substitute teacher and instructional assistant services during the last five years. • The contractor must provide information detailing successful substitute placement and fill rates. • The contractor must describe their hiring and credentialing process, training program, and disciplinary process for employees. • The contractor must provide a sample draft of their proposed contract with the District.
