Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking proposals for waste, recycle, and compost services. The contract will be for a long-term period. The contractor will be responsible for providing waste management services, including recycling and composting, to the VA facility. The contractor must have experience in providing similar services to large facilities and must be able to meet the VA's requirements for waste management.
• The contractor will be responsible for collecting and disposing of all types of waste, including hazardous waste.
• The contractor will be required to provide recycling services, including collecting and processing recyclable materials.
• The contractor will be required to provide composting services, including collecting and processing organic materials.
• The contractor must have a plan in place for emergency situations, such as natural disasters or power outages.
• The contractor must be able to provide documentation of their experience and qualifications.
• The contractor must be able to meet the VA's requirements for waste management, including compliance with federal and state regulations.
