Storefront Glass & Door Services (T&M)

The St. Mary’s County Government is soliciting bids for an on-call time and materials contract to provide replacement and installation of storefront-type windows and doors, double- and single-hung windows, insulated replacement windows, single and double-strength glass, laminated glass, tempered glass, polycarbonate glazing, insulated glazing units, and related products. The contract includes labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the required glass replacements, installations, and related projects. • The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, scaffolding, lifts, and materials required to complete each project in a safe and workmanlike manner. • The contractor shall furnish all products and installations that comply with the International Building Code (IBC), NFPA requirements, and OSHA workplace safety standards. • The contractor shall maintain a service vehicle with an adequate stock of materials, tools, and equipment to provide the contracted services. • The contractor shall provide temporary weather protection during exterior window replacement. • The contractor shall keep the work area clean and safe at all times and remove all rubbish, tools, equipment, and materials that are not the property of the County upon completing the work.
