St. James Ave. Shared-Use Path and Crossing Project Design and Engineering Services

The City of Goose Creek is soliciting qualified engineering and planning firms to perform the full design and engineering effort for a 3.28‑mile shared‑use path along St. James Avenue/US‑176, including NEPA environmental study, preliminary (30 % design) and final construction plans that comply with FHWA guidelines. The work will support the construction of a multi‑use trail and crossing improvements to enhance pedestrian and bicycle mobility. • Conduct NEPA study and environmental documentation. • Produce 30 % preliminary and 100 % final engineering design drawings and specifications. • Coordinate with FHWA and local agencies to ensure compliance with federal standards. • Deliver all design deliverables in hard‑copy (three sets) and electronic PDF format by the deadline.
