Request for Qualifications - On-Call Architectural Services

The City of Dublin is seeking qualified firms to provide on-call architectural services for various Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) over the next three years. The selected firm(s) will be required to perform services on an as-needed basis, with payment according to an approved rate schedule. The services may include architectural design, technical assistance, and full design development of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) packages. The City may select more than one firm, and the agreement will be for a three-year term with the option to extend for up to two additional years. Some key responsibilities of the selected firm(s) will include: • Providing architectural services for a variety of CIP projects • Communicating with City staff and stakeholders • Scheduling tasks and meeting deadlines • Attending public meetings and providing technical expertise • Preparing design documents and cost estimates • Providing support during the bidding and construction phases The City will evaluate the Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) based on the following criteria: • Qualifications and experience of key project team members • Quality and completeness of the SOQ • Experience with engagements of similar scope and complexity • Satisfaction of previous clients The selected firm(s) must also comply with the City's Standard Consulting Agreement, insurance requirements, and other terms and conditions outlined in the RFQ. Some of the key services that the selected firm(s) will be expected to provide include: • Architectural design and technical assistance • Preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) packages • Cost estimating and scheduling • Attendance at public meetings and provision of technical expertise • Support during the bidding and construction phases The City is looking for a firm with experience in providing architectural services for public agencies, particularly in the areas of CIP projects. The selected firm(s) must be able to demonstrate their ability to perform the required services, meet deadlines, and work effectively with City staff and stakeholders.
