Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking authorized distributors to supply sterile “Neuro Patties” consumable medical devices under a FAR Part 12 open‑market Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The solicitation uses a tiered evaluation, giving priority to Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Businesses but also allowing participation from other small‑ and large‑business vendors. Offerors must submit a completed quote sheet and an Authorized Distributor Letter (ADL) from the OEM, demonstrate EDI capability, and meet strict “FOB Destination” pricing and product‑authenticity requirements. The contract is indefinite‑delivery; the BPA will support nationwide VA facilities for the duration of the agreement. • Supply sterile Neuro Patties (and listed consumables) to all VA facilities across the United States and territories. • Must be an OEM‑authorized distributor; ADL must be on OEM letterhead, signed, and dated within 90 days of receipt. • Quotes must be submitted by 12:00 PM EDT on 8 Oct 2026; prices remain valid for 180 days. • Electronic Data Interchange (X12 214, 850, 855, 856, 810, 860, 865, 997) required within 60 days of award. • All items must be new, manufacturer‑authorized, and covered by OEM warranties—no gray‑market or substitute items.

Budget estimate

$2,000,000 – $10,000,000

No contract value is disclosed. Typical VA BPAs for consumable medical supplies range from a few million to double‑digit millions of dollars annually, depending on volume and pricing. Assuming an average unit price of $10‑$50 per Neuro Patty and an anticipated annual consumption of 100,000‑500,000 units across all VA facilities, the annual spend could be roughly $1 million to $25 million. Therefore a reasonable earnings estimate for a qualified supplier is between $2 million and $10 million for the first year of the BPA.
