Description
The Mississippi Department of Education is soliciting bids to provide milk products—including fluid milk, buttermilk, cottage cheese, and related dairy items—to school food authorities statewide. The contractor will be responsible for purchasing, warehousing, and daily delivery of the products to schools, maintaining strict temperature and labeling requirements, and providing detailed usage reports. The contract runs for one year with an optional renewal and may include a short extension if needed.
• Supply a full range of pasteurized, fortified milk products in specified packaging sizes.
• Deliver daily (Mon‑Fri) to all designated school sites between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., with signed delivery tickets.
