Airfield Ultra-High Pressure Waterblaster Services

The County of Dane is seeking bids for airfield paint removal and airfield runway rubber removal services at the Dane County Regional Airport. The successful bidder will be required to provide all necessary mobilization and demobilization, labor, materials, tools, equipment with trained operators and supervision to perform the requested services. The provider shall have at least 5 years of experience in the business of airport runway rubber and paint removal. The provider shall provide mobile Ultra-High Pressure water blasting equipment capable of producing a pressurized stream of water that effectively removes paint and/or rubber from the pavement surface without degrading the surface. Key responsibilities include: * Removing 90 percent of paint on Portland cement and asphalt concrete pavement * Removing and collecting all paint that is loose, flaking, chalky, or not to be re-marked * Removing, collecting, and properly disposing of aircraft tire rubber * Ensuring all work is performed in a thorough and professional manner and in accordance with accepted industry codes, ordinances, laws, and policies * Providing an adequate number of competent, properly trained personnel to provide the required services at all times * Coordinating with airport personnel to ensure safe and efficient completion of the work.
