Rickert Avenue Waterline Improvements Project

The City of Spartanburg, South Carolina, through Spartanburg Water, is seeking bids to install new waterlines along Rickert Avenue in Landrum. The scope includes installing 3,200 linear feet of 6‑inch ductile iron pipe, 1,700 linear feet of 2‑inch HDPE pipe, and associated appurtenances such as fittings, valves, and connections. This project aims to upgrade and expand water distribution capacity to support growing community demand and improve reliability. • Install 3,200 LF of 6″ ductile‑iron pipe (high‑pressure water main). • Install 1,700 LF of 2″ HDPE pipe (service line). • Provide all related appurtenances (valves, fittings, bedding, backfill). • Complete work within the bid submission deadline of October 13, 2026.
