Shaw AFB Catholic Religious Education Coordinator Services

The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide Catholic Religious Education Coordinator services at Shaw AFB in South Carolina. The contractor will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Catholic Religious Education program, including catechist training, sacramental programs, and seasonal events. The contractor must meet certain qualifications, including having a bachelor's degree in education and experience as a Director of Religious Education or Religious Education Coordinator. The contractor will work closely with the Catholic Chaplain and other chapel staff to ensure the program meets the needs of the Catholic community at Shaw AFB. Some key responsibilities of the contractor include: • Developing and tracking a 10-month calendar of RE events • Assisting with Sacramental Programs, including Confirmation and First Communion • Coordinating a 4-5 day Catholic Camp during the summer • Performing administrative tasks, such as preparing publicity materials and tracking attendance • Ensuring all volunteers and teachers have completed a favorable background check • Maintaining a residential and/or cellular telephone for official business purposes
