2026 Third Party Elevator Inspections

The Township of Cherry Hill is seeking a third-party firm to perform elevator inspections. The selected firm will be responsible for performing inspections, plan reviews, and emergency inspections, and will be required to work within the boundaries of Cherry Hill Township. The firm will also be required to provide monthly itemized invoices and to adhere to all required procedures and responsibilities as required by the Municipality. The contract will be awarded in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5 et seq. (Fair and Open process). Some key points to consider include: • The firm must have good oral and written communication skills and basic computer knowledge for the purpose of entering inspection results. • The firm must be available to meet with the public and the Construction Official Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. • All inspections and/or re-inspections shall take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and are to be performed in a timely manner as prescribed by the Uniform Construction Code and as directed by the Construction Official. • The firm must update their inspections with notes in the Township’s permit/inspection software (SDL) each day and submit all paperwork and inspection logs by Friday of the current week to the Construction Official.
