Rail Information Sharing Environment (RISE) Program Development Support Services

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) intends to award a sole-source contract to the MITRE Corporation to provide Rail Information Sharing Environment (RISE) Program Development Support Services. The RISE program is a voluntary, non-regulatory, non-punitive, data-driven railroad safety partnership between FRA and railroad stakeholders. The contract will include a 12-month base period, followed by two 12-month option periods, for a total potential period of performance of 36 months. • The contractor will provide program development support services to continue work previously performed by MITRE under Contract No. 693JJ624C000049. • The contractor will maintain continuity of program governance, stakeholder engagement, and data-trust architecture. • The contractor will collaborate with FRA to analyze risks and address complex railroad safety challenges.
